Mr. Ecklund invented this gate as an answer to the time consuming and potentially dangerous chore of opening, watching and closing gates. After three years of extensive use on a 300 cow/calf, feeder to finish operation it went public. In the company’s 30 plus years of business the gates are successfully used in a wide range of applications such as small cow/calf operations, dairies, major feedlots, community pastures, gravel pits and oil leases.
